Banff, Alberta, April 15-17, 2009 - WiTec Connections is the leading networking conference in Western Canada for professionals responsible for building, selling and implementing wireless technologies and business solutions. The event brings in speakers from leading companies such as Google, RIM and Cisco, and the theme this year was commercialization. Harald Horgen was invited as a featured speaker to present on how companies can expand internationally during challenging times.
Denver, June 25 & 26, 2008 – Ecosystems Summit 2008 is a two-day conference focused on the business opportunities for increasing sales and profits from the ecosystems of software, IT and technology companies. Oystein Konsmo, CFO of The York Group, was invited to address the attendees on the subject of “International Market Selection”.
St. Petersburg, Russia, June 3, 2008 – RUSSOFT Association is the nationwide association of the most technically competent software development companies from Russia, Byelorussia and Ukraine. Harald Horgen, President of The York Group, was invited to speak on “Building International Channels” at RUSSOFT’s eighth annual international summit, an event attended by more than 200 of Russia’s leading software companies.
Newton, MA, May 15, 2008 – NETSEA (The New England Technology, Sales, Marketing & Business Development Executives Association) is the leading organization for revenue-focused technology executives in New England. Harald Horgen, President of The York Group, was the keynote speaker at NETSEA’s panel discussion on “Doing Business in Asia-Pacific”.
Moscow, March 19 & 20, 2008 – Microsoft Russia sponsored a channel development workshop for its most promising independent software vendors. During the two-day session Harald Horgen, President of the York Group, and Dan Satinsky, Regional Manager for the Russian Federation, led the participants through a series of topics ranging from market selection to building a business plan.
Waltham, MA, October 23, 2007 – Foley Hoag LLP and RSM McGladrey, as part of their regular Tech Talk Tuesday breakfast program, organized a panel discussion on the topic “The World is Getting Flatter – Are you Ready?” Attended by 50 Technology CEOs and CFOs, the session covered key elements of operating in the global marketplace. Kevin Rhone, Regional Partner of The York Group, was a featured speaker and also moderated the panel, which included Kenneth Goldman, CFO of Salary.com and Edward Braginsky, Partner at TVM Capital.
Munich, Germany, October 18 & 19, 2007 - Software companies from the Netherlands, Hungary, Germany and Austria attended a two-day workshop on channel development hosted by Microsoft at its German headquarters. The sessions were led by Harald Horgen, President of The York Group, and Paul Gosnell, Country Manager of France.
Denver, USA , July 9-12, 2007 – At Microsoft’s annual Worldwide Partner Conference Harald Horgen, President of The York Group, was a primary speaker. His break-out session, on Building Effective International Channels, was the highest rated session of the ISV Track at the Conference.
Amsterdam, the Netherlands, June 5 & 6, 2007 – The York Group led a channel development workshop, with attendees from the UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Speakers included York Group Country Managers from Germany (Thomas Grevel), France (Paul Gosnell) and the UK (Lindsay Smith).
Toronto, Canada, May 31, 2007 – Harald Horgen was invited to speak at Microsoft’s ISV Leadership Summit, joining speakers from Microsoft and IDC in a one-day program for C-level executives.

brought together thousands of its top channel partners for its Worldwide
Partner Conference 2006. Harald Horgen, President of the York Group,
was a keynote speaker for Microsoft's "town hall" meeting
which focused on Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) expanding their
business internationally.

organized a ten-day series of events for 20 technology firms from Switzerland,

Auckland, New Zealand, Nov 23-26, 2005 - The Asian-Oceanian
Computing Industry Association (ASOCIO) ICT Summit 05 in Auckland brought
together some of the global leaders in ICT for a conference and exhibition
